Breakfast at the IHOP (International House of Peas)

Blackberry Basil Smash Smoothie
I love this!  Before school started again, I was having one of these daily with lunch.  Now it is sometimes desert.  I've used a touch of agave instead of stevia, and the only downside to the recipe is the seeds at the bottom of the smoothie! (katequeenofsprouts)

Chocolate Almond Cherry Smoothie
this is now my go-to breakfast (along with the other 3/4ths of the banana, since I make one at a time) until weather cools off and I go back to oatmeal.  Again, I use agave instead of stevia, and this has also been an ice cream substitute some nights.  It is not too sweet, and I feel very pious having 1/3 cup spinach before 7 am! (katequeenofsprouts)

Mama Pea's Margarita Smoothie
I made it with Trader Joe's coconut milk (for drinking, not for cooking) instead of traditional coconut milk.  But this was nice!  Even though it makes 4 servings like the other smoothie recipes, the carbonation makes it fizz up to a much larger cup size than the other smoothies.  It was refreshing, though I used about 2/3 of the cilantro.  I like cilantro, but in small doses. (katequeenofsprouts)

Life's Not Fair Blueberry Scones

Mini Tofu Frittatas
very nice! They smelled amazing when they were cooking, and my hubby and son both loved them (I didn't try them). I had to use soft tofu (instead of extra-firm), which made them a little more delicate to handle. Still, they loved the flavor and it's a nice little protein-packed snack. (lebkuchen)

Beg Worthy Banana Bread

Blueberry Streusel Muffins

Grand Old Biscuits

Blackberry Cinnamon Rolls

Apple Cinnamon Pancakes
these had great flavor and texture. The chunks of apples are great here. I froze them and then toasted them in the toaster for my son. He liked them a lot, especially cut into "sticks" and dipped in maple syrup! (lebkuchen)

Self Serve Oatmeal Bar

Fabulous French Toast

Whole Wheat Ginger Pear Waffles

Baked Oatmeal Squares

Pumpkin Cream Pie Oat Bran

Tofu Scrambles

Beyond Pea B and J: Lunches, Salads and Soups

Crack Wrap

Picnic Tortilla Pinwheels

Untraditional Broccoli Salad

Chickpea Strawberry Mango Salad

Lemon Lentil Soup
This was not bad, it was just meh.  I have a fairly high soup standard, in order to be top marks a soup has to be something I would look forward to eating the leftovers for lunch the next day.  This was too bland and not exciting enough.  It was all right for dinner, but I probably won't make it again. (katequeenofsprouts)
I too found this to be a little unexciting. It tastes fine, for sure, but there's nothing too interesting going on here. Just a nice basic lentil soup. (lebkuchen)

Un toppable Black Bean Soup

Cashew Carrot Ginger Soup

Tempeh Bacon Reubens

Hugh Jass Salad

Spicy African Peanut Slow Cooker Soup

Panzanella Salad

Skinny Elvis Sandwiches
these are pretty good, except I would not make them on corn tortillas.  Too dry! (katequeenofsprouts)

Thai Crunch Salad

Fresh Waldorf Salad

Peas on the Side: Snacks, Sides and Sauces

Fruit Skewers with Cheesecake Dip

My Kind of Bar

Banana Chocolate Chip Millet Muffins

Chewy Energy Bars
these are insanely delicious. I've made this twice already, too. I used buckwheat flour and cashew butter. After I baked and cooled the pan, I cut them into small bites and then froze them. They are so yummy out of the freezer! (lebkuchen)
these were good with almond butter and chocolate chips and dried cherries instead of raisins.  Very chewy in a good way. However, they were more calories than I would like for my energy bars.  To fix this, I cut them up into 16 pieces instead of 10.  Problem solved! (katequeenofsprouts)

Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread

Soft Pretzel Twists

Cowgirl Cornbread
this was an okay cornbread, but it was bordering on plain-tasting. I prefer a sweeter-type cornbread. It was also very crumbly and had a "crunchier" crumb on top than I usually like. I found myself putting more EB and honey on top of each piece than I normally would. I have other cornbread recipes that I love, so I probably won't make this one again. (lebkuchen)

La Hacienda de Peas Tortillas

-good but I'm used to a fluffier tortilla so they came out kinda flatter than I expected but were very good any way.I love mama pea's stories so funny (Cherie68)

Croutons

Lemon Rosemary Roasted Chickpeas
yum! Super flavorful. Good for snackage. (lebkuchen)
these were too strongly flavored for me to eat on their own, but a nice accent on top of pasta and sauce. (katequeenofsprouts)

Spanish Quinoa
this was dead simple to make, and quick too.  The flavor is nice.  It did not knock my socks off with complex and interesting layers, but the simplicity and the fact that the ingredients are usually in my pantry (and it reheats well) means I will probably make this over and over again. (katequeenofsprouts)

Crazy Good Hummus

Butternut Squash Fries

Yogi Guacamole

Fire Roasted Salsa in a Cinch

Almond Ginger Dressing

Everything's Better with Barbecue Sauce

- amazing! This was a God-send to me, because I haven't been able to find a good bottled BBQ sauce that has no tomato paste and that isn't too spicy. This sauce is perfect and only takes 30 minutes to make with pantry ingredients. I made 1/4 of the recipe and used it on a Barbecue Chickpea Pizza with her Tried and True Whole Wheat Pizza Dough. The pizza was fantastic...dough, then sauce, thinly sliced onion, chickpeas, and a mix of Daiya mozzarella & cheddar. Totally awesome! (lebkuchen)

Tofu Fun Nuggets

Seitan Lettuce Wraps

Better than Ever Black Bean Burgers

-my current go-to burger recipe. Doesn't take too long and the flavor is great. (Tazzypumpkin)

Homestyle Spaghetti Sauce

Mediterranean Lentil Meatballs

Tofu Ricotta Gnocchi

Almost from Scratch Lasagna

Baked Penne with Sausage and Peppers

Green and Red Lentil Enchiladas

Meaty Green Bean Casserole

Tempeh Chili

Teriyaki Tofu

Chipotle Lime Tempeh Tacos

Tried and True Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

- this was good and easy to make. I don't usually make yeasted pizza crusts (I'm lazy and just usually just use baking powder), but even the baking-challenged like me can make this. It makes a medium-sized, thin, crisp-yet-chewy crust. My only (small) quibble is that it is rather plain in taste, so if your pizza toppings aren't very salty, you may want to add more salt to the dough. (lebkuchen)

Double Chocolate/Single Chin Brownies
These are a nice fudgy brownie without the fat.  My dad loves these and he can be really picky with his brownies. (monkey7)

Anytime Cookies

Cutout Sugar Cookies
I made this recipe to the T, and it came out okay. I would not say great. The cookies were very salty not really that sweet that your used to for sugar cookies. I made it completely diary free version of this recipe with coconut milk and vegan cane sugar. I would say if you do make this recipe then consider this when making the cut outs of the cookie. When you cut them make sure that they are less than the recommend 3/4 for the thickness try more for 2/4 for thickness. The thicker they are the more time it takes for them to bake in the oven, it took mine about 18 minutes to cook. I will not be making this recipe again. (ashles)

Homestyle Chocolate Chip Cookies with Sea Salt

Almond Joy Cookie Bars
I adored these.  Even a guest who says he usually does not like coconut couldn't stop eating them.  They are not overpoweringly chocolatey or coconutty, but that is part of their charm.  I like that they don't hit you over the head with sweetness.  They're subtle, not too rich, and just right. (katequeenofsprouts)

Mango Cupcakes with Coconut Cream Icing

PB and J Filled Cupcakes

German Chocolate Cake

Banana Split Remix

Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing
okay...best carrot cake ever. No lie. Even better than the Incredible Vegan Carrot Cake on VW, and much easier to make, too. It's really simple, but it's perfect. The frosting recipe is the bomb too. LOVE THIS!!! I made it for my son's b-day cake and everyone raved about it, including the omnis (lebkuchen)

Chocolate Cherry Bread Pudding

Peanut Butter Blondies with Ganache

Just Like Bobo's Chocolate Silk Pie

Lemon Raspberry Pie

Funky Monkey Pie
this was super easy to put together, and it was a celebration of my absolute favorite foods - peanut butter, bananas, chocolate, and graham crackers! It was really yummy and loved by all. I'll definitely make this again! (lebkuchen)

Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Balls
I thought these were good.  They have a nice peanut butter flavor.  The middle is a little doughy in texture but yet it is a little crumbly.  (monkey7)

I thought the la hacienda tortillas were good but I'm used to a fluffier tortilla so they came out kinda flatter than I expected but were very good any way.I love mama pea's stories so funny.
