Vegan food for cats

I think I've stumbled upon the answer to my prayers for the fab five!

I saw your post here and so I browsed through a thread from a week or so ago about dog food where there was a big discussion about vegan-based and meat-based diets for pets.  I didn't see a post from you and don't know if you missed it 'cause it kind of relates.

Here it is:

I glanced at it at the time but since the discussion was mostly about dogs and cats have very different nutritonal needs, I didn't look at everything.

There were several discussions about this already so I've listed them below:

Dog Food?  (still talks about cats)

There were more, but those are the only ones I directly participated in so they were easy to find in my "SHOW ALL USERS POSTS"  .  ;)

Haven't looked into it myself, but the person who passed this  to me is reliable.

I think I posted that link here very recently on one of the "tainted dog/cat food" posts. If you goto the "links" section, there a few that can help you find a local holistic vet, acupuncture for your pets, etc. and it has a link to the Whole Food Journal which rates all the top natural and organic dog (and cat) foods every year.  Thanks for posting it again Yogaferret!

No thanks needed.
I'm just reposting my previosuly written posts.  Too lazy to rewrite and besides, the same topic just keeps repeating.  ;)

We're at page 50 now and I think that's a sign that it's really time to get the forum organized into at least 2-3 sections.  Everything is lumped together as RECIPES which over 1/2 of them aren't about.  besides that, because of the volume of posts, topics just discussed last week end up on page 3-4 which no one bothers to visit.  Trust me, I mod on another board.  It's just the way it is. ;)

cheers!
