train a dog

It is very hard to train a dog as I have already experienced. I loved dogs. On my 17th birth day, my mother gifted me a cute dog. Then slowly I realized that it was not as easy as they are shown in movies to train a dog. At first it gave me lots of trouble, but as much I trained it, all loved it. And now, I also love my dog. It is more than dog for me....
Wow, thanks for sharing. To me dog behavior isn't the problem -people on the other hand, could use a bit more discipline. Spammers, for example, might benefit from a sharp blow to the nose with a rolled up newspaper. :-*

The challenges of dog training are no different than those of child rearing: (a) communicating what behavior you expect; (b) understanding the other creatures perceptions/ wants/ needs, related to problem behavior, and finding appropriate outlets for those needs so problems don't arise; (c) providing consistent benefit (reinforcement) for functional behavior, and minimal opportunity for maladaptive behavior; & (d) consistently providing acceptance & love despite whatever problem behavior (inevitably) occurs!

Just a new, more refined version of the same old crap. I hope Vegwebbers aren't clicking the embedded links in these spam posts because that will just encourage more of the same.
How to identify spam:
1. The subject line has little if anything to do with the board's purpose, and often makes no sense.
2. There is at least one blue hyperlink somewhere in the "post".
3. The "poster" has no profile, and less than 5 posts, all of which meet criteria 1 and 2.
Spam in animal house is a little harder to remove, so just ignore it and it will be deleted soon enough. It's one step harder to remove spam if there are other replies.

I dunno! For some reason, there's no "remove post" or "remove topic." A lot of the functions are missing from Animal House, and I have no idea why.
