Pictures of your Furbabies!

I looked for a thread like this and couldn't find one.  I know a lot of you have all sorts of animals and probably hundreds of cute pictures.  I thought maybe we could have a thread to share pictures of em.  :)

My animals cheer me up so much!  I just wanted to share them with the rest of you!

Here is a video of my kitty "Baby" when we first got her.  :)  I woke her up from her nap and she's all sleepy.

Another one of baby, grown up.  This is after she got her hair trimmed (Lion cut)  she gets hair balls really bad, and we do this once a year in the summer to help her out.  You'll see my puppy oreo buggin the heck out of her.

I don't have many pics of my puppy, our camera broke so I need to get a new one.

I think Pouncival would be..... a lot like I was as a kid. He's only a year old, but that apparently means "adolescent" in cat years. He's very curious about everything and will try just about anything once, but when he gets caught doing something bad or if he gets scared/falls down (like that time he thought he could jump onto the dresser and missed...) he gives you this surprised/embarrassed look like "Uhh... yeah, it was supposed to be like that, really... I don't need a hug. I'm okay. I mean, a hug would be good. Can I have a hug? But, I'm really tough, I'm hugging you for YOUR sake... not mine. Really."

Just like a teenager. Still needs his mommy, but he sure won't admit it!

What a pretteh ratteh! :)>>>

We both have pets named after hobbits. Heehee. :>

I know..I love it!
and in my fantasy world where You and I share a hobbit hole (which is in reasonable walking/biking distance from a nifty flower shop AND a vegan bakery and/or co-op, our respective workplaces) the ratties and kitties all get along...and perhaps we also have a rabbit named Bilbo and a doggie named Gandalf...and all of them get to run about freely, because they're all litter trained and SO well-behaved.

I'm really sad because Katie and I may have to let the guinea pigs go.  We got George a few weeks ago and it has been nothing but problems.  Bubbles does not like George AT ALL.  Katie is allergic to the pigs and when George came, she got a lot worse.  She's having breathing problemsl and anytime she touches George, she gets red spots on her skin.

This really sucks for the both of us.  We love our little buddies so much and we're worried someone won't treat them as well as we do.  I'm also sad that George will have to go, he's really a sweet little dude and doesn't run away when I come to pet him. :'(

I'm sorry, ck.  I know how much you care about them.

When you say, "give up," does that mean you'll look for someone to foster them and replace them or would you do that yourself.

This is Zippy a male full size Dachshund.
He is 5 1/2 years old veggie dog.Unbelievable amount of energy lately.
Rescued him when he was 2. Lived in a cage when I adopted him.
He does not like clothes and prefers just to be nude.
Separation anxiety problems does not like when I am not here.

He's so cute in the sweater that I bet Zippy gets spiffied up more than he'd like.  :)

What a cute doggie!  My sister had a black and tan mini dachshund when we were going up.  I wasn't an animal lover as a child and the dog and I didn't jive too well, but my sister loved him soo much!  Anyway, my parents kind of rescued him when he was a year old and he lived to be 16.5 years old.  Oh, he didn't like clothes too much either.

That's awful! I am so sorry, it is bad enough when a pet dies, but to have to give up a pet and know you'll miss out on all it's little life adventures must be hard.

Earl grey, even older than Cassie but still hanging in there in an adorably grumpy old man way

I got the call from my parents tonight that Earl Grey has done what old cats do and took himself off a week ago and hasn't come back.
While not entirely unexpected, I'm pretty sad. I remember the day we got him, when I was six, so it's goodbye to a beloved pet and part of my childhood and life since then. :'(
Just needed to share.
