Pictures of your Furbabies!

I looked for a thread like this and couldn't find one.  I know a lot of you have all sorts of animals and probably hundreds of cute pictures.  I thought maybe we could have a thread to share pictures of em.  :)

My animals cheer me up so much!  I just wanted to share them with the rest of you!

Here is a video of my kitty "Baby" when we first got her.  :)  I woke her up from her nap and she's all sleepy.

Another one of baby, grown up.  This is after she got her hair trimmed (Lion cut)  she gets hair balls really bad, and we do this once a year in the summer to help her out.  You'll see my puppy oreo buggin the heck out of her.

I don't have many pics of my puppy, our camera broke so I need to get a new one.

hmm It's 3am and I'm not asleep, so just ignore me if I sound too crazy..... but when I wrote that comment about Jack being a poet if he were a human it made me wonder about my other pets and think of all their different personalities and things, and what they all might be if they were also human.  I'm sorta curious what you guys think with your pets :D

(Nothing to do at 3am so my mind is free to wander, I'll probably feel silly about this post later when I wake up and delete it though) LoL

polka would still be in school because shes only a year old.  she would be good at gym, but bad at everything else because she doesnt follow directions.  : )  she would also get sent down to the principals a lot because she doesnt follow the rules.  shes a bad girl!  haha

My cat back at my parents house would have an accent that transitions from french to hispanic. I don't know why....

Our two boys were named after fictional characters, and they match their personalities surprisingly well!

Samwise would be a devoted, worried, humble protector kinda guy... much like his namesake:

Roux would be a cool, charming, handsome traveller... much like his namesake:

Oh, dear....I just teared up a little when I did the math and realized that my 10 month old baby girls are actually almost 30 rat years old!!  :'(  ...my little babies are all grown up!

Brandybuck was definitely the rebellious teenager who always tried to run away, not because she didn't love her mama but just because she was (still is) so adventurous and determined to explore the world on her own. Now that she's an adult, she still loves to venture out and run away whenever she can, but she doesn't seem to treat that as an act of rebellion...and now she's more apt to come back to mama when called, and will chill out long enough for a good snuggle.  :)>>>

Pippin, however, is somewhat stunted in emotional/social maturity...most likely as a result of growing up with her dominant, aggressive sister. She gets picked on and rarely fights back...but when she does, oh watch out! because she means it! Pippin is still a mama's girl, preferring to stay the comfort of her own house, or tucked between/underneath her mama's boobs (seriously*). Maybe one could compare her to that nerdy, antisocial guy who still lives in his mom's basement at age 30...but she's still a sweetie...and even if you have to force her to come out of her little cave, she'll win the hearts of all the new people she meets.

I think Pouncival would be..... a lot like I was as a kid. He's only a year old, but that apparently means "adolescent" in cat years. He's very curious about everything and will try just about anything once, but when he gets caught doing something bad or if he gets scared/falls down (like that time he thought he could jump onto the dresser and missed...) he gives you this surprised/embarrassed look like "Uhh... yeah, it was supposed to be like that, really... I don't need a hug. I'm okay. I mean, a hug would be good. Can I have a hug? But, I'm really tough, I'm hugging you for YOUR sake... not mine. Really."

Just like a teenager. Still needs his mommy, but he sure won't admit it!

I know..I love it!
and in my fantasy world where You and I share a hobbit hole (which is in reasonable walking/biking distance from a nifty flower shop AND a vegan bakery and/or co-op, our respective workplaces) the ratties and kitties all get along...and perhaps we also have a rabbit named Bilbo and a doggie named Gandalf...and all of them get to run about freely, because they're all litter trained and SO well-behaved.

I'm really sad because Katie and I may have to let the guinea pigs go.  We got George a few weeks ago and it has been nothing but problems.  Bubbles does not like George AT ALL.  Katie is allergic to the pigs and when George came, she got a lot worse.  She's having breathing problemsl and anytime she touches George, she gets red spots on her skin.

This really sucks for the both of us.  We love our little buddies so much and we're worried someone won't treat them as well as we do.  I'm also sad that George will have to go, he's really a sweet little dude and doesn't run away when I come to pet him. :'(
