Pictures of your Furbabies!

I looked for a thread like this and couldn't find one.  I know a lot of you have all sorts of animals and probably hundreds of cute pictures.  I thought maybe we could have a thread to share pictures of em.  :)

My animals cheer me up so much!  I just wanted to share them with the rest of you!

Here is a video of my kitty "Baby" when we first got her.  :)  I woke her up from her nap and she's all sleepy.

Another one of baby, grown up.  This is after she got her hair trimmed (Lion cut)  she gets hair balls really bad, and we do this once a year in the summer to help her out.  You'll see my puppy oreo buggin the heck out of her.

I don't have many pics of my puppy, our camera broke so I need to get a new one.

I know that feeling. I only get to see Inca De Kitten every so often now, and I miss most of my childhood pets most of the time. Grrr to the landlady who won't let me have a pet.

I know. We can't have any animals, and it's so heart-breaking. It's what is missing from our life!  >:(

ohh, AC! what a pretty puppy! any time you've got a dachshund thrown into the mix = friggin' adorable. It's such a shame you can't have her around all the time.  :-[

and Kristy, I just love your palm-sized kitty, and that cute little Oreo!

and HH's Cat was..well, THE cat. so appropriately named, that lovely Cat.

HH the last pic is great on the bed.

I know, it captures who he was perfectly - he wasn't a fighter (he never once bit or scratched me), but he knew what he wanted and wouldn't back down.  You can tell from his stance that he was in it for the long haul.  That bed was not getting made.  (He won, although I punished him with hugs and kisses.)

Hahahah, priceless!  I love that one too!

It is so easy to miss them. As soon as I get to my parent's home there is nothing better than being attacked by four dogs all wanting to wrestle and then sitting back in my favourite chair, just waiting for an Inca snuggle.

I think I'll go home next weekend now.

What I love about sleeping kitties is how their eyes are squeezed shut.  And when they're trying to pretend they're still asleep, but their ears give them away.

the late, beautiful Zumi

I'm not sure if I ever told you.  The picture was small and when it was your avatar I thought is was your hair in a hairband for almost the whole time - until someone mentioned how adorable your rat was.  Then I enlarged the photo and found an adorable little rat face.  So much better than a hairband.

She's partially blind from eye disease(?) as a stray kitten.
She has to be the sweetest kitty from another planet.
She's always darting across the room to come see me.
I feel bad rearranging the furniture, hellen keller kitty complex....
As a crazy kitten she would blast off running into things.
Funny, but I should not laugh.
Her ears twitch often, she listens carefully.

that's like poetry, Eric. how beautiful!
She's lucky to have you.

that's funny, HH. better yet, Brandybuck and Pippin could easily camouflage themselves into my hair...
Or Shane's:

Hahahaha, Kristy, I love the head-tilt video. My Little Dog does that all the time-- truly hilarious.

Doh, my pic keeps uploading sideways, even though it's configured properly on my computer... Anyway, turn your head sideways to see my newest furbaby! (Doesn't really have a name yet, although I call him Dino, short for Dinosaurio):

YAY! the little chinny (almost) has a name!

The last time I had trouble naming a pet, I simply sat down and asked him what his name was.
I was reminded of that scene in "Harvey" as soon as it came out of my mouth, and I may or may not have heard my pretty blue betta fish reply with that name.
Harvey lived to be over 3 years old. the end.

Apologies for the megapost of photos but all these animal companion photos have made me super sentimental for my buddies back home.

We can't get too much of around is animal love.  Me, at least.  I'm animal-less until another animal chooses to move in with me, so I love pictures.  Of course, I'm partial to Jess.  I'm a card carrying member of the black & white cat solidarity union.

Heh, the chin is vegan too. I read the ingredients on his bag of food and thought, "Hey! I'd eat that!"

Jess is a lovely cat :) Doesn't purr though, she makes this strange squeeking sound :)

The best thing about my walk from the tram to home is all the cats I passby. So many friendly cats! Some days it can take a good 20 minutes with all the stroking I have to do :)

Hehe, Ferdinand is wise enough to be young at heart. He's getting a little grumpy now that my brother's lab is on the scene.

Though he has passed into the spirit world, this is my Nelson.  I had him for 17 years and he will always be with me.  I fished him out of a dumpster behind a Mexican restaurant in Hyde Park in 1990.

This is my daughter's kitty, Bast.  We took her in as a pregnant stray.

This is Phantom, he's my pretty boy and the son of Bast.

This is the evil monster Oz.  He rode to my office in the engine compartment of some lady's Honda Civic and dropped out from under her car as she left the parking lot.  Try not to look at the disgusting kitchen floor that my slumlord was supposed to replace in July or at the can of raid that hasn't been used in years.  I should probably throw that away.
