Is it creepy that I'd frame those and hang them in the living room?

I'll hang them in my room first and I'll let you know if it makes me feel like I am creepy :)

awwww, I remember seeing those!

they're so damn cute though.
People seem to think I'm weird for thinking that newborn rats are adorable....they come out all pink and fetus-like and only slightly resemble the grown-up rats people are used to seeing, but I just love them!

The elephant one is my favorite.  Maybe it's because they're so big and heavy in real life that it's cool to see one floating.

I'd loved to have a pet rat, I'd call him Leonard.

The elephant looks cool...but so does the dolphin...and I saw the cutest wolf photo in the newspaper... I'd never really thought about animals in the womb before yesterday.

There was a show on the National Geographic channel a longish while ago called In the Womb. It followed the development process of a few babies inside the womb IN REAL TIME. It was incredible. I think they showed some other animals (like the elephant), as well. I have the elephant one as my desktop now.  :)>>>

Are those really in utero or is this some wicked mad genious photographers doings?  Either way they are adorable!

Oh, what? I thought there would be kittens involved! Tiny things in utero disturb me just a bit.

WAAAAIIT.  How can they take such detailed pictures of animals in the womb when human babies in utero look like bad xerox copies?!?

I need explanations.  ::)

I somehow can't believe that those are real pictures of animals in the womb.  If you look at the puppy, it's fur doesn't even look wet.  Every puppy I have seen born has wet fur that is slick, not fuzzy.  And that elephant doesn't look right.  If an elephant was that developed in the womb, it would be all bunched up in a ball getting ready to be born.

But the idea is cute.

Ooops, feeding time for my baby.  Every two hours!

Even if it's mostly computer generated graphics, it's very clever. :)

Think of when you are swimming underwater.  If you look at your hair, it doesn't look wet when it's submerged.  It only looks wet when it's pulled into the air.

The elephant might be models.  Even so, I think they're made to look like the actual animals in the womb.  ???
